Emilia (Tamara Roca), 17, arrives in a religious town on the border between Argentina and Brazil. She is looking for her long-lost brother, with whom she has obscure, unfinished business.

She stays in the jungle at her weird aunt Inés's (Ana Brun) hostel where, according to rumors, a dangerous beast appeared a week ago. This beast, people claim, is the spirit of an evil man that takes the shape of different animals.

Between the real and the mythological, the human and the animal, guilt and sexuality, Emilia will seek to confront her past.

High Octane Pictures Dark Comedy “Stealing Chaplin” on Prime Video

Stealing Chaplin Poster 2

A stylistic half-sibling to the works of The Coen Brothers, Guy Ritchie, Elmore Leonard, and Martin McDonagh, this film appeals to much of the same vast audiences who turned “Fargo,” “In Burges,” "Snatch," "Raising Arizona," “The Big Lebowski,” and “Mindhunter” into massively successful cult classics with a dark comedy inspired by a true story about two brothers who dig up and steal the corpse of Charlie Chaplin. Filmed on the legendary strip, Freemont Street and the 27 acre ranch of Mr. Las Vegas Himself Wayne Newton, the film honors the spirit of Las Vegas in true cinematic fashion.

“Stealing Chaplin” became the first comedy feature film to auction collectible NFT’s earlier this summer. Embracing the NFT world with not one but fifteen unique collectible NFT’s for auction providing comedic content crafted directly from the acclaimed diabolical dark comedy “Stealing Chaplin.” We also greatly appreciate your what's streaming, review and interview consideration for this comedic caper -- a slapstick a homage to Chaplin himself.

Inspired by real events, two Las Vegas based con men dig up and steal the corpse of comedian Charlie Chaplin in order to ransom it. With the theft gaining the world’s attention and the reward rising daily, soon every local lowlife, criminal and dirty cop wants a piece of the action.

Yevette: What was it like preparing for the documentary and working with your parents?
Ilaria: I did not prepare for the film. There were no preparations. I had got together a team and we started filming. It was hard work.

Yevette: What was it like working with your team, how did you work with Corey Florin, Vici Suflan and Noriko Sugiura?
Ilaria: I had a great team that was wonderful to work with. they really helped me with the whole process.

Ilaria:  I do a lot of traveling and filming in the United States and Italy was similar to what you do while traveling.

About:
The man credited with the idea for creating a Walk of Fame, was E. M. Stuart, who served in 1953 as the volunteer president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. In that year, according to a Chamber press release he proposed the Walk as a means to “maintain the glory of a community whose name means glamour and excitement in the four corners of the world.” He appointed a committee to begin fleshing out the idea and the architectural firm of Periera and Luckman was employed to develop some specific proposals. Where the original idea came from is not certain; however, the ceiling of the dining room of the historic Hollywood Hotel once had stars painted on the ceiling with the names of celebrities and that may have been a precursor of the idea to place stars in the sidewalks.

Musso & Franks, Hollywood’s Oldest Restaurant Re-Opens May 6th

Musso & Frank Grill

The oldest restaurant in Hollywood and a part of Hollywood history , Musso & Franks will re-open its doors for dinner on Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Like with other restaurants in Los Angeles and around the country, Musso & Frank closed its doors due to
COVID-19 and will reopen after a year.

Opened over 100 years ago on September 27, 1919 by Frank Toulet as Frank's Cafe located at 6669 Hollywood Boulevard.
Frank later went into business with Joseph Musso and renamed the restaurant Musso & Frank's Grill.

Eight years later, in 1927, the two sold the restaurant to Joseph Carissimi and John Mosso,
who moved the restaurant to 6667 Hollywood Boulevard, still its current location.

Musso & Franks was the place to be. It had the first pay phone installed in Hollywood. During the Golden Age of Hollywood,
it was a place for movie stars like Rudolph Valentino, Charlie Chaplin, Greta Garbo, Humphrey Bogartand others were regulars.

The Screen Writers Guild was located near Musso and would become the place that authorsm who were recruited
to write Hollywood studios' next best script, would hang-out. Authors like Max Brand, T.S. Elliot, Aldous Huxley,
John O'Hara, Dorothy Parker and John Steinbeck.
