Director and writer Daniel Farrands new film 'Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman' tells the story of the 1970s murderer Ted Bundy (Chad Michael Murray), who terrorizes America with his senseless slaughter of women. but is unable to evade Seattle detective Kathleen McChesney (Holland Roden) forever with the help of FBI profiler Robert Ressler (Jake Hays).

Many stories have been told about Ted Bundy over the years, yet Farrands said his reason for adding another film about Bundy, "I wanted to show that Bundy, despite being somewhat smart and mildly charming was, in the simplest terms, an absolute monster."

Farrands makes no excuses for his behavior and does not focus on his childhood or the circumstances he endured growing up, instead he chooses to humanize his victims, giving a name to the faces of Bundy's victims.

About:
The man credited with the idea for creating a Walk of Fame, was E. M. Stuart, who served in 1953 as the volunteer president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. In that year, according to a Chamber press release he proposed the Walk as a means to “maintain the glory of a community whose name means glamour and excitement in the four corners of the world.” He appointed a committee to begin fleshing out the idea and the architectural firm of Periera and Luckman was employed to develop some specific proposals. Where the original idea came from is not certain; however, the ceiling of the dining room of the historic Hollywood Hotel once had stars painted on the ceiling with the names of celebrities and that may have been a precursor of the idea to place stars in the sidewalks.

UNDERGODS: Movie Review

When a bedtime story is.... more than a bedtime story

Director and Writer: Chino Moya
Starring: Johann Myers, Géza Röhrig, Michael Gould
Genre: Horror, Science Fiction
Language: English

Madrid-born Chino Moya's feature film debut 'UNDERDOGS' full of nightmarious tales told by K (Johann Myers) and Z (Géza Röhrig),
two body collectors, who drive around the city picking up bodies, dead or alive.

Moya tells the story of K and Z's dreams as three different stories that start with Ruth (Hayley Carmichael) and Ron (Michael
Gould), who welcome a complete stranger, Harry (Ned Dennehy), into their home.

Next, is the story of a father Octavius (Khalid Abdalla) and his daughter Horatia (Maddison Whelan), who bond over the bedtime story about Hans (Eric Gordon), a business man who steals from the man called "Foreigner" (Jan Bivjoet). Hans' daughter, Maria (Tanya Reynolds) is the one person in the world he loves more than money and with that comes her boyfriend, Johann (Tadhg Murphy), an uninvited visitor.

The last of Moya's tale is about a married couple, Rachel (Kate Dickie) and Dom (Adrian Rawlins) and their teenage son
(Jonathan Case), who allows Sam (Sam Louwyck), someone Rachel knew, into their home.

UNDERGODS showcases Moya talent for storytelling and and having Ridley Scott on board as Executive Producer also shows the  additional talents that will serve him well in the filmmaking.

Musso & Franks, Hollywood’s Oldest Restaurant Re-Opens May 6th

Musso & Frank Grill

The oldest restaurant in Hollywood and a part of Hollywood history , Musso & Franks will re-open its doors for dinner on Thursday, May 6, 2021.

Like with other restaurants in Los Angeles and around the country, Musso & Frank closed its doors due to
COVID-19 and will reopen after a year.

Opened over 100 years ago on September 27, 1919 by Frank Toulet as Frank's Cafe located at 6669 Hollywood Boulevard.
Frank later went into business with Joseph Musso and renamed the restaurant Musso & Frank's Grill.

Eight years later, in 1927, the two sold the restaurant to Joseph Carissimi and John Mosso,
who moved the restaurant to 6667 Hollywood Boulevard, still its current location.

Musso & Franks was the place to be. It had the first pay phone installed in Hollywood. During the Golden Age of Hollywood,
it was a place for movie stars like Rudolph Valentino, Charlie Chaplin, Greta Garbo, Humphrey Bogartand others were regulars.

The Screen Writers Guild was located near Musso and would become the place that authorsm who were recruited
to write Hollywood studios' next best script, would hang-out. Authors like Max Brand, T.S. Elliot, Aldous Huxley,
John O'Hara, Dorothy Parker and John Steinbeck.
