Chocolate Milk is a 90-minute feature documentary following three Black mothers living and working in South LA over the course of five years to understand the birth and breastfeeding challenges facing Black families. To find a unique angle to the U.S. Black maternal health crisis, we partnered with over 250 maternal health organizations around the country to collect stories from Black birth families over several years. Chocolate Milk is the culmination of this collaborative approach to community-based storytelling.
