ARTFULLY UNITED About the Life of LA Street Artist Mike Norice

ARTFULLY UNITED follows LA street artist Mike Norice as he creates a series of inspirational murals in neighborhoods in and around Los Angeles. Like his artwork that continues to lift up lives and spirits, ARTFULLY UNITED brings together Norice’s talent, advocacy, and heart to make an unforgettable portrait.

Mike Norice rose up from being homeless in the gang-filled streets of Watts, CA, to become a wildly successful visual artist, sneaker-art designer, and painter of inspiring murals in the city’s toughest neighborhoods — part of a 20-mural series Norice has designed, using his art and vision as an unparalleled source of hope.

The Artfully United Tour transforms from a simple idea on a wall to a community of artists and activists coming together to heal and uplift the city they call home. As the murals are unveiled, this gritty documentary explores the forces that shape the streets of L.A. and those that shape Mike as an artist, delving into his past to create a rich tapestry of family and faith, love and loss, music, hope, and life.

**Mike was also selected as one of the 8 muralists for the upcoming LA Olympics, he will be doing an official cultural affairs mural in Watts, CA. Additionally, AND1, the basketball shoe company, with deep roots in streetball culture has bought Mike on to create art on two LA basketball courts for the upcoming NBA All Star Weekend this February. Mike is also currently working with Cedar Sinai in LA, creating art to uplift.**
